A new litter of kittens has just arrived at their new home, and everyone is excited to welcome them! The journey to get here was quite long, as they had to travel by float plane from the Yukon. While it’s not ideal to transport animals over long distances, it’s often the best chance for them to find a loving home. In northern communities, there tends to be a high population of animals due to less spaying and neutering and fewer people looking to adopt. However, where this person lives, there’s a high demand for pets and a lower supply.
The kittens have already settled in and are having a great time playing with their new toys. The person is getting to know them before deciding on names, but they’ve decided to name them after types of potatoes! Meet Yukon, Marabel, and Kennebec, who are all adorable in their unique ways. Yukon has a white face and extra toes, while Marabel has subtle calico markings, and Kenne has a solid grey coat and extra thumbs. Everyone is excited to see what adventures these little ones will get into!
It’s so good to be back waking kittens up for cozy snuggles! @whiskersnpurrs exclaimed with joy. Marabel is definitely the reigning Queen of Purring, she added lovingly. Saturday plans are now on hold, as these adorable kittens need all the cuddles they can get! @whiskersnpurrs declared passionately.

The cats are having a blast scaling the climbing wall! Even though they don’t seem to be afraid of heights, their foster mom definitely is. Whiskers N’ Purrs shared some adorable photos of the polydactyl brothers, who have extra toes and go by the name of Spudfluffs.
Marabel is an absolute gem, both in terms of her personality and appearance. She emits a constant and contented purr, always seeking affectionate snuggles from those around her. This sentiment was expressed by @whiskersnpurrs.

According to @whiskersnpurrs, Kenne seems to be a bit clumsy with his hands 😆. The tiny yet fierce bear from Yukon has also managed to capture @whiskersnpurrs’ heart 🐻❤.
